the privacy policy of the Housing Advocacy Council
of Monterey County. All personal information you
provide to the Housing Advocacy Council (HAC) will
be kept confidential and private. That information
will only be collected in order to determine if you
are eligible for services you are requesting.
Statistical information is provided to HAC funders
and the public without connecting that information
to any given individual. |

You will be required
to authorize us to verify all relevant application
information with your employer, landlord, and other
appropriate agencies and individuals in order for us
to determine if you meet our program guidelines.
Services are not guaranteed to any client
until they meet all program guidelines. |

We may amend this
policy at any time by a vote of our Board of
Directors. |

We collect personal
information only when appropriate. We may use or
disclose your information to provide you with
services. We may also use or disclose it to comply
with legal and other obligations. We assume that
you agree to allow us to collect information and to
use or disclose it as described in this notice. You
can inspect personal information about you that we
maintain. You can also ask us to correct inaccurate
or incomplete information. You can ask us about our
privacy policy or practices. We respond to

No one outside of the
Housing Advocacy Council of Monterey County will be
permitted access to your individual information,
except for funders who monitor our services.
Specifically, for the Deposit and Rental Assistance
Programs only the Client Services Workers, Program
Evaluator, and the Executive Director will have
access to information in your file. |
